The wedding cake was a white chocolate cheesecake! My daughter had always wanted cheesecake for her wedding cake and that’s what we had! A dear mother of a parishioner who had been a professional baker specializing in cheesecake volunteered to make not only the wedding cake but two additional cheesecakes and two giant sheet cakes. Needless to say, we had a lot of cake! I decorated the wedding cake with extra blossoms sent by the florist (who happens to be the bride’s supervisor at work) so it would match the rest of the flowers.
