I finished the baby blanket UFO this week (although it still needs to be washed before putting it away). It’s knit from alternating knit/purl stockinette squares 10 stitches x 16 rows. I added a crocheted border for stability (and to use up yarn). It’s a weird yarn [Yarn Bee Confection], in fact, one I picked up several years ago because of the bamboo/cotton content. It results in odd loops from the variation in spinning. I’ll show a closeup:

Anyway, it’s really soft but the texture could be off-putting if you like really smooth blankets.

I also made two more 100 knot prayer ropes for the bookstore, one in Yarn Bee’s Hint of Silk and the other in Paton’s Silk Bamboo [both yarns discontinued, to my bitter disappointment].
