
No, this isn’t at our parish (sadly!) but at St. Joseph’s Antiochian Orthodox Church in Houston near Katy. We were there to celebrate a wedding a couple weeks ago and I wandered out with my younger girls during the reception to visit the garden.

It was wanting to drizzle off and on so the light wasn’t too bright but we really enjoyed looking at all of the flowers (or jumping off the rocks, depending on your age.)

I noticed a lot of native wildflowers including bee balm, Indian blankets, cow pen daisies…





Truly, it was such an inspiration! I hope this is something we can have one day ourselves, especially with a small shrine or two!
