My fourth daughter (12) is finishing up the art school academic year and is getting three pieces ready for submission to the art show. One is shown above.

This one needed to be matted and framed but was an odd size. I bought an existing mat/frame and slightly enlarged the mat. It should surprise no one that I own a mat cutter.

I was looking back over photos I’ve taken of the children’s art over the years. I’m glad I not only took photos of the art of but them making the art. Since I’m not going to share photos of them, I’ll share a few of my own pieces for fun. I always say I’m going to “get back into art” but I never seem to find time. Maybe later this summer.
